Immunity Soup: A Recipe

This is a versatile recipe with limitless health and immunity benefits.

The key ingredient here is bone broth, which has an incredible ability to heal the lining of the gut and help it eliminate bacteria, viruses, and toxins. Since our immune system is founded in the gut, it is essential to support the lining to ensure optimal function and elimination. 

Feel free to customize and play with this recipe for an easy lunch that can sit on the stove for the family.

IMMUNITY SOUP RECIPE

Bone broth. 1-2 liters of high quality broth. I like Brodo, Bonafide, or optimally, homemade!

Olive oil. 1 tablespoon.

Celery. 1 cup, chopped.

Red onion. 1/2 cup chopped.

Mushrooms (preferably dried, then soaked). 1 cup.

Garlic. 3-4 fresh cloves, chopped.

Thyme. 1 teaspoon of fresh leaves.

Rosemary. 1 teaspoon, chopped.

Chicken, or any protein of choice. 2 cups.

Add as many fresh vegetables as you can cram in!

Quantities are flexible depending on desired serving size, and flavors/spices can be added depending on preference.
